Hello,

As someone contiplating my first (and hopefully last) RV purchase, we've been looking at a number of CC. I've noticed a wide variety of satilite systems installed. One of the one's we're interested in has a TracStar system...but in researching it, it doesn't seem to offer HD capabilities, which would be important. We'll have 3 TVS - Salon, Master and Outdoor.
Good reception while driving as well as while parked would also be important.
I would love to know what systems you recommend...or advise to stay away from!

It depends on your provider.

Direct TV cannot get HD on a dome/in motion dish.
Dish network can, but only one satellite at a time.
Dish uses three satellites. All TVs would need to watch programing off the same satellite at any given time.
Your best approach might be to add a second open dish for HD when parked, and provide a switch to allow the in motion dish on one TV while driving. You probably won't be watching the outdoor or Salon TV while driving.
