Hello, gang...
I have a 2004 Allure, equipped with all manner of electronic gear, much or which I cannot access because I do not have the relevant data.
1) It is equipped with a Sirius satellite radio receiver. Well, of course I can't activate it until I can find it and locate the serial number. Where the devil is that receiver located?
2) It is equipped with On-Star, but how do I find the necessary information to activate the On-Star system, or should I bother.
3) Where can I find Bose parts to replace the broken suspension arm for a speaker?
TIA
Ken Harrison

Ken,
Tune you radio to channel 0 or 1, can't remember which and the info you need will show in the display.

I found the Bose store had replacement brackets for the 3-2-1 speakers. As mentioned in a thread just the other day, I added strips of black gorilla tape to where it attaches to the speaker, and from the end of the bracket to the back of the speaker, with cross over strips to add more 'stickem' surface to the speaker. I hope this helps the vibration impact on the attachment point to the speaker, as well as provides a safety catch to keep the driver side from hitting me in the shoulder again as it falls.
Before each trip, I inspect both speakers and brackets, and so far have not needed to firm anything up. I forgot to mention in the other thread. that I included a dab of super glue to the screw while attaching it the bracket to the speaker, an added insurance. (Sure locktite would work as well.)
Best of luck,
Smitty

Ken:
I do believe that On-Star will not promote the RV Indusrtry anymore.

Ken, re: question #3. Call Bose @ 800 379-2073 and purchase, I've bought a new pair and installed a couple of years ago.
