Hi, am thinking about upgrading to a newer coach with a electric refer.
We go to NASCAR races and dry camp, what is the best for our use, and what should we look for with a coach with a electric refer.
Thanks for all your help

If you go all electric on the fridge, and boon dock for multiple days, then you will need to do the math on amp usage, battery pack size, and recharge time.
Most people who go the all electric, upgrade qty of batteries available, and also usually add 'right sized' solar panels to help in the battery maintenance. Not always, as you can just run the generator more often. (If you run this anyway for say AC needs, then that will keep you charged.)
One gent we know, who runs his generator for long periods while boon docking, did add the added piping to run the generator exhaust up above the roof level. (You can fab your own as he did, or buy the kits.) Might want to consider this too.)
Check our the Residential Samsung that Dallas installed in his coach, and you can also read his battery approach. Dallas does clean well thought out projects:)!
For us, as we wanted to preserve the Propane capability for fridge, we upgraded out 1200 to the Amish cooling unit. Very pleased with the results, and this fridge so far is doing all that we want in a coach. (We'll see if we feel this way after we get out on the road for longer periods:)!.)
Best of luck, have fun,
