I have a 2006 intrigue that I would like to upgrade the speakers but cannot figure how to remove the existing grills, can anyone offer any help? Thanks

Mine just snap off, they ate tight, if you can't do it with your fingers use a flat blade, butter knife, putty blade.

I had a Samsung Blu-Ray DVD player installed and it is replaces the original sound system. Bob Vinson at OMC said that there was nothing wrong with quality of the original speakers and did not recommend replacing them for what that is worth. He is a pretty knowledgeable guy in regards to TV's and sound system.

Drew,
Mine are friction fit. Just grab with your finger tips and pull down.
Good luck.

I plan on replacing the receiver with an Onkyo NR609 and the speakers with Polk Audio in ceiling speakers, not sure which model yet. I am not happy with the sound from the stock sound system and I also want to wire a zone 2 speaker system in one of the bayswher I will use Polk Atrium 55 weatherproof speakers. If anyone else has run wires to the bays I would be intersted in hearing how they ran them.
