Hi What Christmas towns/ areas/ tours did you experience this year or in the past? We would like to plan an extended Christmas "tour" next year and we are looking for ideas on locations, events, parades, sites to see, lighting displays, tours, dates. For example, this year we went to St. Charles, Mo. on Thanksgiving weekend, for their Christmas events. They had all sorts of holiday characters in costume and playing the parts, carolers in costume singing in "old town St. Charles on the river front. Great dining options (the weather was so good that outdoor dining was available). Great little shops, very festive. There was a nice campground within 2 miles, (Sundermeier RV Park (http://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0oG7mBBiPhOB2oAy.pXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE0a2duZjlvBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2FjMgR2dGlkA1FJMDE4XzE4OA--/SIG=11li3j9mb/EXP=1324939457/**http%3a//www.sundermeierrvpark.com/) 111 Transit Street ~ St. Charles, MO 63301Toll Free: (800) 929-0832 ~ Office: (636) 940-0111). There is a bike trail adjacent to it and you could ride your bicycles to old town. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

Yahoo Message Number: 76422 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76422)Thank you Lee and Marta. Also got an email from Charlie recommending Josam. Looks like I will go to Orlando Thousand Trails for a couple of weeks in February and get the work done while I'm there.

Yahoo Message Number: 76427 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76427)Josam emailed me back and want to know how many axels I want balanced and alligned. I'm experiencing pulling to the left when I brake and a vibration when I go over 55 mph. Suggestions?
Thanks,
Carol

Yahoo Message Number: 76429 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76429)Pulling to left when braking is a front brakes issue. Will probably need both front wheels pulled and brakes inspected and lube the brake shoe rollers, very important. As for alignment, without history, do all of them. Also balance all tires. I did just the front, did not fix it. Will go back and have the rear duals done as well. Our big ties can destroy them selves by bouncing.

Yahoo Message Number: 76430 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76430)Forgot. Have the tires trued and balanced. Not everyone can true the tires, a process that makes them round, takes off the high spots. Makes a tire balance better and roll better. Balance is only half the solution. If a tire is to far out of round, balance simple will not help. Try to find someone who can true the tires. From experience of a couple of CC owners this is very important to get rid of the vibration from the tires.

Yahoo Message Number: 76432 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76432)Pulling left when braking is probably a brake concern, Wheel balance will show up as shimmy or vibration. Are your tires wearing badly? I just mounted 6 new Michelins with Equal balance beads, they are smooth.... Skip...#11329 Intrigue

Yahoo Message Number: 76460 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76460)Thanks, Leonard. I'll see if Josam does true tires while balancing and aligning.
Now...is there a brake place near Josam?

Yahoo Message Number: 76465 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76465)Yes, Josam can shave tires to be round.
They did mine awhile ago and indicated that Goodyears where often out of round.

Yahoo Message Number: 76567 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/76567) Just had my goodyear shaved or trued and the coach rides like a dream. The last 700 miles driven has been a pleasure aand most of the rattles have disappeared. Got them trued in Winchester, Tn. Couldn't find a dealer in Austin or San Antonio Texas.
