Dave,

I am currently in the process of having my mechanic remove the old system and install a new HD Winegard system. John, my mechanic, is an expert at the installation and diagnosing any kind of electrical problem. I just dealt with Winegard Company regarding a flaw in the new system. John pointed out to them the flaw in design. I trust this guy with everything on my motorhome. I live in San Diego, if you would like to call him I will provide you with the number.
