I've had a couple of the plastic bay catches break. There is one on each side of bay door. (06 Inspire)

Anyone know the part number for the catch?
Also, how do I replace it? I've pulled the 2 screws that actually hold the catch mechanism to the door. But I can't pull it out far enough to do anything.
I removed the 4 screws that actually hold the door handle in, but the "rod" that move the mechanism is actually "caught" or swaged to the catch mechanism.

So now what?
TIA,

Rod,

Here is a web site you can order replacement latches with metal parts, You might be able to get them from Kevin Waite in Junctions City.
These are not easy to replace due to the clips holding the arms in place. Must be patience to do.

Rod:

This is the p/n, Winnebago (P/N WN001), I know, I know.....
Life time guarantee. $16.00 ea. or 13.00 if you send them the old ones.

I have several on my coach.

Anyhow:
1. Remove 4 screws that hold the handle. You do not need to remove the handle.
2. Pry off the carb. clip, with a knife or small flat blade, that holds the rod to the handle. Be careful, be patient and do not loose the carb. clip. If you do, I purchased a box of 100, contact me.
3. Remove the 2 screws that hold the catch mechanism.
4. Remove the catch mechanism along with rod.
5 Remove the carb. clip from the rod attached to the catch mechanism.
6 Be careful, be patient
7 Reverse the order.
