Does anyone have a source for the round glass covers for the interior lights? I broke one and don't want to replace the whole fixture.

Dennis,I bought replacement glass for my overhead fixtures "2008 Intrigue" from Guaranty RV in Junction City Oregon, 800-825-2333. You can also try Kevin Waite at 541-953-6162 he should be able to help you... and also the obvious...sometimes I am a little slow on the up take... Dennis, Ben & all others:

The company that makes the ceiling puck lights will not sell just the lenses anymore but they have upgraded the puck lights, the glass part is now part of the outer ring instead of attached to the three little plastic prongs inside the fixture which melt due to the halogen bulb getting so hot. The only bad part of this upgrade is the new outer ring will not fit on the older puck lights thus you have to replace the entire light (Imagine that !!) I can get these upgraded puck lights if anyone is in need, if interested feel free to contact me off forum.

How about Plan B?One of the reasons the halogen lights burn out so fast is the heat build-up inside the fixture. Take the glass lens off, the lights last longer, and frankly you'll not give it a thought, unless you like to stare at the fixtures.
There is no practical difference in the lighting effect. So, as the bulbs have burned out I've left the lenses off. Fact of the matter, about 1/2 of my lights have the lenses off and no-one has ever noticed! The fact that I broke one early on is now irrelevant. Lee

I have been following this for quite some time.
After replacing all of my bulbs and then having them burn out 2 months later, I believe the problem lies in our charging circuits. To charge at least my batteries properly, I have US Battery 6 volt batteries, the charge voltage must go close to 15 volts. This is too much for these bulbs and their filaments break. So I will either try some 24 volt bulbs or put some kind of regulator on the circuits. I will report back when I get some results.

Dennis CC quoted me (last week) $39 per fixture for the overhead halogen puck style lights. They said they had no individual parts for these fixtures. Dan 2006 Allure 31348

Not only that Lee, but some of the lights came from the factory without lenses at all. Like mine. The lenses a unnecessary.

Take one of glass lenses out of another fixture and take it to a local glass shop. They should be able to make you as many as you want - betting they will be less than a couple dollers each.

Anyone wishing to take Lee's excellent advice and sell their glass inserts, please message me. (I have all LED lighting).
