Hi, will someone explain the operation of the gen auto-run process? My settings include 240 mintues runtime. Does that mean the generator will run for 4 hours, even if the batteries are fully charged before that time? What does the 60 mintues top off run time mean? Anawers to these quwestions will help me to know what to expect of the generator operation while dry camping.
Thanks in advance

Gary,
The 240 minutes is the time selected on your silverleaf to charge your batteries. Make sure you set the max volts to 13. The generator will stop before the 240 minutes if your batteries are fully charged. The top off is for if after 240 minutes your batteries are not fully charged then it will proceed to keep running for 60 minutes. This may happen only if you have very low batteries like below 11 volts. You will notice that if you keep scolling down on the menu, you will run into factory default. If you push that button in then the system will be reset to what the factory selected. I have been told by many tech's in the past to change the setting for starting to 12 volts and top off at 13. If you need have any questions on this, you can reach me on my cell phone .
