I was just reading the emails from back in dec about having a radiator worked on in Nov 2011 and having your claim under us warranty denied and yet the coach ahead of yours was paid.
We were denied in 2010 under US warranty for the radiator. We did get them to cover the charge air cooler. Now that we are up to snuff with them, any work done on our radiator will be covered under the us warranty as long we have the proper servicing. Perhaps that is what happened in the coach's case before you.
They had originally offered to cover our radiator and then decided not to because of their claiming it was a manufacturing defect with the aluminum radiators. Our was not aluminum but did not have rubber grommets between the radiator and the frame. the charge air cooler did however and that is why us warranty covered the CAC.
From what I heard this has become a real issue for the aftermarket warranty companies and they all decided in summer 2010 to stop paying cc warranty claims unless someone had done as we did.
We have fairly good luck with US warranty on covering things for us. They always check to see if required maintenance is being done and since almost all of our maintenance is done at Guaranty RV in junction city it is all in one place. We had them on a previous winnebago we had and they did the same thing. 20,000 more miles to go and while we would not hesitate to go with US Warranty again, I wonder, if they would accept a policy from us with what they have had to pay out. Much more than we paid both times by far. Just mine honest feelings about US warranty no connection other than a happy customer Tammy

So, if I understand you...If I have an aluminum radiator, I need someone to add rubber bushings to the bottom, prior to having any problems... document it (work done) and I should be covered...MAYBE...Since I have not had to have any warrant work performed..they don't ask the coach owner to do any extra maintenance then what the manufacturer recommends...DO THEY?? As for an example...coolant..change every 25K miles...but they would like this service done every 15K miles.
Thanks
Dave
