I may need to replace the fuel filter on my hydro hot. I have a very small leak (a little accumulates on top of the filter after a few days). I will replace if tightening it a little doesn't fix it. I need to know if you have to fill the filter with fuel before installing it and if anyone knows a part number for the filter.

Thanks. This forum is great.

Dennis - When I replaced my filter I filled the new one completely with clean fresh diesel fuel. I had no problems restarting the system thereafter. It's always a good idea to get as much air out of the system as possible. There's also a small micro screen filter behind the spray nozzle in the Webasto diesel burner head. Good luck.
