Staying at a campground connected to 50 amp service, my chassis battery is not getting charged. My question is, can I make a connection between the house and the chassis batteries and will my Freedom 20D handle 3 8D batteries. Thanks Dick 96 Intrigue 10203

Do you know where your engine boost switch is located? Feel free to give me a call if you like.

Your issue is common to that vintage CC. You can buy a Trik-L-Start to use shore power to charge your chassis battery from shore power.
Or, you could try just using the chassis battery disconnect switch while parked for a long time. The only problems that might occur with the chassis battery disconnected is the steps and dash radio might not work.

Yes Kevin, I do. I need the chassis battery on for my little compressor on the leveling system. The 3 batteries sit next to each other and I had this crazy idea to connect them together temporarely and charge the chassis batt with the house batteries.
