I recently completed the install of a 26" Vizio LED flatscreen tv in our 95 Magna.

Removal of the CRT created space for a DVR behind the TV.
A few pictures are in the Photo section of this web site under 1995 Magna Flat Screen Install.
The result built from scraps around the house and $35 worth of piano hinge and tv mount seems ok rather than expending a bunch of bucks to remodel the entire front overhead on the old girl.
Perhaps someone can benefit from some of the photos as I did from those that posted before me.

Thanks Dean;

As soon as the weather is half way decent, I was going to do the same thing.

Dean,

Can you please e-mail me offline and explain exactly what you attached the 2x4 bracing to; where the piano hinge fits in and where you got that mount? On the bracing, suppose a friend could weld up a steel brace for me. Would that work out better?

Thanks,

Rich
