Below is the email from my mechanic. I am not Mr. Electronic so I am not even sure what he is asking, but I hope someone out there does and will help.

Stan I need the the pin location for the ECM I think thier is a A-B-C connection on your ECM. I need to check from the Smart Wheel Controler to the ECM .To make sure the Cruz Control On-off-set-resumme-signal is getting to the ECM.Or why its not getting to the ECM. Thanks Buddy.

John,

What other information do you need. I joined the Cat Club and may be able to use this source to get whatever information you still require.

Also as i said on the phone, on your year model there was an issue of a mass of wire butt connectors being used at the ECM plug on the engine. I have seen a few instances that the wires were lose or over crimped at these connections.

Stan,

Can't help you with the pins but when I had problems with my smart wheel, it was the clock spring. The clock spring transfers all info from wheel to selected parts.
You can replace it yourself, I did and I am the furthest thing from a mechanic.

Kevin Waite should be able to get you the part.
