I currently have Fleetguard ES Compleat PG (Blue) as the coolant in our Cummings 600 engine. I'm looking for a source (internet or other) for the concentrate or the 50/50 mix (Located in Fredericksburg, TX, near San Antonio/Austin). Or information for a substitute like a Peak or Prestone product. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Call 1-800-diesels and ask the Cummins rep where you can procure your Fleet Guard. Some times the big independent Diesel engine shops carry it in addition to the Cummins shops.

Here's where I got my coolant: http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/ryder/af/ryder/core/content/product/srm/key/V52%20CC2835/pn/Antifreeze-Coolant-Es-Pg-50-50-Pre-Mix-Gallon/erm/productDetail.do (http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/ryder/af/ryder/core/content/product/srm/key/V52%20CC2835/pn/Antifreeze-Coolant-Es-Pg-50-50-Pre-Mix-Gallon/erm/productDetail.do) They were cheaper than Cummins and quick delivery via UPS.

Hi Folks,

This appears to be OAT coolant relabeled by Cummins Fleetguard which is Peak Final Charge red label, 50/50 mix for less than $15 per gallon. It can be purchased at NAPA. Searching previous posts indicates Final Charge can be used in the diesel generator for the same 4000 hour protection.

Fred, I use the Peak Final Charge 50/50 and purchase it at O'Reily Auto Parts, generally they have to bring it in from their distribution centers/warehouses, normally one day.

I got mine at a Cummins dealer in Summerville, SC $14.50 per gallon.

I also use the Peak Final Charge 50/50 premix from O'Reilly, They do have to order it.
If changing your coolant, don't forget to change the thermostats and replace your reservior cap RJ

Received the ES Complete PG concentrate today! Was shipped on Tuesday. Not bad.
If this coolant is good for 150,000 miles or 4,000 hours, why would one switch to "Final Charge"?? Are they the same?

I am also interested in the source of a claim that ES Complete and Final Charge are the same product. I also do not understand how some have claimed to maintain the correct mixture at 50/50 by adding 50/50 coolant. What do you do when you testing says you are below the required level?
