I have noticed receently that my entry door is getting harder to close and open and the dead boly lock has quit working.
Upon a close visual inspection, I discovered that the spacer/washer/bushing (take your pick)at the top of the two hinges have worn out and allowed the door to drop enought to affect alingment with the various locking mechanisms and in general, make the door hard to close or open.
Any thoughts on how to repair/fix the problem? My first thought is to insert a snap ring aroung the hinge pins.
