Hi there! Been reading the group posts for about a week since joining. Wanted to say thanks for all the great information posted.
As of today we have officially joined the group by closing the purchase on a low mileage 2005 Inspire DaVinci. We are absolutely thrilled and are spending our first night in the coach. So far, so good, I don't have any questions or problems to report but I'm sure we will eventually.
We have been RVing for many years, mostly in 5th wheels and this is our first attempt at coach life.

Thanks again,
Dale & Suzi

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!
We have a home in Southlake, TX, just North of Ft. Worth. We haven't found anywhere we didn't enjoy visiting but we love the SW and spend a lot of time in AZ, NM, CO and UT. We plan to return to MT, WY, OR and WA soon.
I am still working full time but have the luxury of being able to work (mostly) from anywhere I have decent cell phone and internet service. So, we are able to travel for extended periods.

We now have 3 nights behind us in the coach and are very pleased!

Thanks again,

Dale

Hello RJ

congrats on your purchase of a 2005 Inspire --- is it a 40 footer? I have a 2006 Da Vinci Inspire and was curious about the differences between the Siena and the Da Vinci...... jan

Dale -- its definitely an "adjustment period" in the coach --- there were things that started beeping in the middle of the night that freaked me out, my Fantastic fans opened and shut in the middle of the night, and I sat there thinking someone was on my roof, lots of little silly things that I look at now and think, what was so hard to figure out here.........
If you have any questions, I, too, would be delighted to talk with you...... I am traveling alone, full timing it, have gone thru quite a few experiences, so if I can help in any way at all, I would be happy to. jan

Hi Jan,

Thanks! The Siena is the 36 ft coach. We have a smaller bath & kitchen area than the 40 footer.

Re: [Country-Coach-Owners] IntorductionHi Janice,
Sure. We've replaced the radiator and charge air cooler as well as the PTO. We had one AC quit and replaced that. Last year we replaced all of the batteries, 6 house, plus the chassis battery. Two of the house have already cracked, frozen over the winter, and now we're thinking of the longer lived Life Line batteries because at some point we intend to install the Samsung residential refrigerator. There are members on the blog who have done this and are very happy with it. They also have posted a lot of excellent info re the refrigerator.
We had one refrigerator replaced under warranty and then had the recall work done on the 2nd one. We seem to be ok, but I have a thermometer inside, and as an example, driving in TN yesterday it ended up at 45 degrees before it started down. We live in MN and need to find somebody there who can help us do this refrigerator installation.
So much of the motor home "house" and motor and whatever else there is to mention has been terrific giving us very little trouble. There's a fellow in Owatonna, MN, who has an RV repair business that has helped us wonderfully, and we've had great help from Kevin Waite as well as John Davis RV Service from our CC blog. Near Minneapolis is I-State truck service who has been good too, and a superb alignment place north of Mpls called Precision Frame has been terrific too. It's great to have these folks who are so helpful. We really like this motor home and are grateful to own it so that this wonderful traveling is possible!

Thanks, Janice.

Mary - thanks so much for your info -- sure appreciate it..
Is the reason for replacing the refridg with the Samsung residential, fire concerns? We had a discussion about this situation at the recent CC rally in Tucson ---
I am parked next to an 07 Inspire right now and was so impressed with the electric day/night shades - so much easier (and much nicer) than the curtains I pull across that dont close completely ---- oh boy, lots of $$$$$ At the CC rally in Harrisburg, I will be right there close to various vendors who can assist me with all of the things on my "dream list"... I already have the number one thing I did have on my dream list ---- my Country Coach...... LOVE it...
The more time I live in it, the more I love it...... and the lifestyle....

will u be attending the rally at Harrisburg? thanks again, Mary, for your help. jan
