My Sauer Danfoss fan controller model 1090411 has stopped operating consistantly. Has anyone found a replacement (any manufacturer) that can be purchased locally (and hopefully a little cheaper)? There is a 4+ week wait for a Sauer Danfoss brand replacement and I would be happy to use another brand that could be ordered in less time.

Re: [Country-Coach-Owners] thermal wax fan controllerGene,
I'm not sure of the model number being the same, but when we needed a Sauer Danfoss fan controller, Kevin Waite happened to have one.

Kevin,
We are in Winkenburg Az. I have talked to Gene and think his problem may be his thermostat. He has A high temp issue, not low temp which is the issue with a failed SD controller.

When the controller fails the fan does not go to high and you get high temperature. If you bypass the controller the fan runs on high and you get low temperature. You can test by pulling the controller plug and watch the fan ramp up to high speed and see the temperature drop.
