While stopping in Yuma to get a Norcold 1200 heating element, my Onan generator would start but would not take the load.
I suspect the power transfer switch, but have no idea exactly where it is.
Any one know for sure?
Thanks.

Glenn,
My intrigue is a 2006 and the transfer switch is behind the panel above the house batteries near the inverter.

I have a 2003 Suite Sensation (11554) and the transfer switch is located behind the power panel in the bedroom, access is through the rear closet. There is a clear plastic cover on the passenger side. It's rather cramped because the surge protector is also located there.

Check the circuit breaker on the generator also.

As strange as it may seem, you should reset the clock on your generator remote panel above the front door. This clock, for some reason or another tends to lose track of the time and needs to be reset from time to time. It does affect the generator.
