I have a "98 Allure. I have a diminished water pressure issue I believe is related to the water filter. I have visually located the filter, but, cannot gain access to it. Has anyone had experiencee with this problem?? Help!

On my 2000 Allure (which is a 1999) the access is from the compartment in front of the water compartment. On the rear bulkhead of said compartment is a removable panel and the filter is behind that. It could be very, very tight to unscrew and the way CC mounted mine, I tore the mount off when I tried to remove the canister.
