Title: Our coach Emergency Fire Windows

I'm trying to test the emergency fire window in the dining area. There is a red handle 1/2 way up one side with a trigger-latch. I hear the latch click as a pull on it and pull the handle away from the frame and down about 3/4 of an inch. However, I can not get the window and its frame to move out away from the coach. I've pushed and banged with my hand some but haven't dealt it a serious blow.

Any advice or suggestions to get it to work?

That is exactly why you are supposed to check it before you have an emergency.
You might try a plastic putty knife to loosen the seal while you push a bit more than gentle.
