Title: Dash AC unit

I have to add some 134A to my Dash AC, and I am not sure what the high and suction press should be. I am guessing 35 on suction and 200 Lbs. on high pressure. Used to work with R 12 which was I think higher on to pressure side. Maybe some of you experts can chime in. thank you.

Pressures for any type of freon type refrigerant is dependent on ambient air temp. Unlike HVAC systems that use superheat and subcool calculations to properly charge a system, the MVAC system needs to be pulled down to a vacuum and the freon weighed with a scale for proper charge level. Using gauges alone and guessing at the pressure levels will get you close, but can do more harm to your system in the long run.

I don't know about your a/c setup. But mine uses a thermal expansion valve for a refrigerant metering device. So the superheat and subcooling method is the way it has to be done.
