We use a 1500 watt DeLonghi Safe Heat tower space heater with a built-in thermostat and tip-over switch. When it was new, it was an excellent heater. Over time however, it does not seem to heat as well as when new. We had a similar experience with a prior heater and replaced it.
Do you have experience with a compact, quiet electric heater that works well more than 2 or 3 years?

Have you tried blowing out the heater with compressed air. They tend to collect a lot of dust.

We have been using two small heaters for several years now.
