I currently have the original interior lights that came with 2005 Inspire. I would like to consider replacement of the Halogen Tubes with LED.

Has anyone done this ?

Is it worth it ?

Is the Lightening Brighter

Which LED would most closely equal what is currently in the RV ( Cool, Warm or ?? )

What is the cost two replace the two Halogen with LED ?

Thank You

Stan

It is relatively inexpensive I forget what I paid but I donot remember it as outrageous. There are about three Kelvin sp? Ratings out there for LEDS.
6000-6500 very white almost blue white and cool, there 3500 about in the middle and a little whiter than the halegon bulbs and 27OO which are more yellow than the halogen. With the lower K rating you get less light for example a LED rated equivalent to a 10 W halagon will produce more visable light at 65OO than at 2700. To replace my 10W halagon I used LED equivalent to 15W halogen and picked 3500 K rating. All companies do not have all three K ratings and some do not disclose the K rating. Changing the florescent tubes over my sink with LED resulted in a very nice clean light for the kitchen but I would not want it for the remainder of the coach. I do not know the K rating for the kitchen sink light but suspect it is in the 5000-6000 K range.
