Hi Gang - I'll continue to use the search engine and keep reading, but thought I'd ask as my first few searches did not seem to come close.
As in the subject line. 40' High Cascade, two drivers side slide, tag coach.
-Leak was found in the basement of the driver side, the small half bay in front of the water/sewer basement door.
-Leak seems to be up high. (Have two small storage cabinets for electrical/sewer hose storage. The top of the top storage unit was wet. Plus down on the basement floor too.
-The rear end of the large slide, is right above this cabinet.
-We had pretty good rain storm for San Diego about two days before I found the water. Winds blowing in pretty hard, so suspect the rain was a bit horizontal heading right at that side of the coach.
-The coach slide was closed, the cabinet doors were closed and locked.
I've inspected the rubber seal, and while not real pretty, sure seems to be good shape. Clean them and treat them on a regular basis. I do see a pretty good size gap between the bottom of the slide and the top of the loser basement door beam. Is this the most likely place for water to get in? If not, other tips? Is this pretty normal, and because of the side exposure to the driven rain?
Dying it out now, but was wondering if anyone had found the same kind of problem before - and determine where for sure it came from and away to block it?

Thanks,
Smitty

When I had a similar problem in my SOB I discovered a plastic water line leading to the ice maker had rubbed and sprung a leak. Easy fix once I located it.

Thanks Bob - That might fit well, as the fridge is 1/2 over this basement too. I'll pop the fridge vent and take a look. Appreciate the tip...
