Moab is beautiful, but hot. We hiked early AM, but by noon was very hot and did not cool down in eves. I am a biker and, if I had my choice, I would bike there in spring or fall. We ended up taking a tagging trip just to cool off.

Thank you Jan and Debbie for your thoughts on Moab in the summer. As I noted in my previous post, I am an avid bicyclists and Moab has been on my bucket list for several years. I was trying to decide whether I wanted to visit Moab this July, since I will be in western Colorado. The dilemma was the heat. Well, duh, I finally realized I could either be in Moab in 90 degree, low humidity heat, or I could still be here in Texas in 100+ degree heat and 70% humidity. Since I will be in Colorado anyway, I'm also going to take in Moab. Thanks again Debbie and Jan.
