Driver window open smell sewer. All traps have water in them fron normal daily use. Extra water placed in stool, still smell sewer.

Happens while driving. Window closed, no odor.

Ideas, thank you in advance.

Happens in ours too. We just make sure the windows stay closed. Hope someone has a solution. It's not only Country Coaches. If you monitor the rv.net forum you'll hear the same comments from other brand owners.

Mike, are you talking about the vent caps on the roof? How were yours not working?
Is it possible there is enough vacuum with the window open that the p-traps allow some air from the holding tanks to escape?

Thanks,
Steve

Mike, I looked under my sink(s) and do not see any thing I would describe as a vent where any odors could escape.

Although I'm not having the problem that Steve is having, I'm just trying to keep this kind of info in the the old gray matter, if the problem raises it ugly head.
Although at my age, my brain is full and every time I remember something new, something old needs to forgotten and that is why I'm forget so much now days.

Mike, will the vent cap simply screw off? Also, do you recall where you got the replacements?
My kitchen sink cap is against the outside wall, not very easy to get to.

Thanks,
Steve

Yes. They will screw off by hand

They have cheaper ones at home depot and lowes I call the manufacture, their name is on the vent, and told them I could not find their vents and they sent me 6 for free
