Just had the same problem but when I flushed the crapper, the wardrobe got really foul. As a previous writer noted it is probably the air vent in the black tank flush out. If your wardrobe is in the same place as mine, pull out the 2 drawers. It is a white device with Lakeview RV supply model 1000. Get 3 pieces of PVC connectors, glue them together and bypass this valve. I was going to write up something but haven't gotten around to it yet. Like a lot of CC vendor supplied parts, this one is 100 percent failure rate. If you want to buy another, it is around $30.
If you want a picture of the device and treatment ($4), write me at jon@... (jon@...). Found the floor plans. I can't attach a picture of the device. Not sure where it would be on your coach. It should be directly above the flush intake somewhere in the coach attached with cable ties to the black tank's vent pipe to the roof.
Thank you Rich Barlow, I had completely torn out the back wall of the wardrobe. Didn't have a clue what this thing was.

You are welcome, John. I thought I posted something about this about 4 years ago. It took months for me to determine the cause of these sewer odors. I determined it had to be this one way valve for the black tank flush system after discovering by process of elimination that everything else was shipshape. It was the only thing left that was connected to the black tank and inside the living space. I think I found it with my nose and then spoke with someone at CC about what the hell it was.
CC is required to install these things by code inside the coach above the toilet. We are not required to do so. I don't think it is that it has failed at what it is designed for-i.e., stopping the backflow of water. It is that it does not stop the flow of gases either way, thus the smell.
