Hello --

Both of my Crimestopper fobs have bitten the dust. Batteries are good, but guts must be shot, as nothing happens anymore when buttons are pressed. The alarm system in the coach is still fine. I had to pull the fuse to keep it from re-arming itself and then going off every time we opened the door. When the first one went out, I hunted all over for one (Crimestopper, of course, doesn't have them anymore or is out of business, I forget which). Finally bought one on eBay which I thought would work, but didn't. If anyone has any information on how I can obtain at least one of these, I would appreciate it. Two would be better, but it sure would be nice to have at least one.
Thanks in advance,
David Jarrett

You should have a TriMark Alarm System for your coach.

David,

If you have the Crimestopper CS9702DC Gargoyle II it is no longer available. I called Crimestopper to obtain the key fobs and they told me I was out of luck. However, they did tell me I could replace the control unit with a SP-301. This would require cutting the wires from the existing unit and splicing color by color to the new unit. The SP-301 and the CS9702DC use the same color codes. My existing unit was mounted behind the main dash board panel. You will get two new key fobs, one of which is a pager. I have ordered the SP-301 from Amazon, $79.95 but have not installed it yet. If you don't have the unit I have, I would suggest you call Crimestopper at 1-800-998-6880.
