Title: Smartire antennas

My tags are not reading on the smartire display. New sensors last month. Paul at Bob Dickman's tells me there is a third antenna located in the engine compartment somewhere. Sure can't find it. They say the rear antenna T's in the back elec bay and goes to the third antenna. I wanted to electrically check that antenna if I can find it. Any clues? Lyle Wetherholt

Lyle, in my 07 Intrigue there is a bay at the curb side rear, where my air and fuels filers are accessed. With the door up I look at the rear interior and see the antenna, on a magnet adhering to a steel angle iron cross-member.

Thanks for responding. The answer is, this coach does not have a third antenna. Tom's coach is only nine numbers from mine but no antenna here. The cable from the mid-coach antenna goes straight to the front. It is supposed to go to the aft elec bay andN T to the third antenna. No cable going aft, no T, no antenna.

I guess I should have added that when I went with Smart Tire II for the tag and the toad after I bought

the Odessey the next year, the third antennae was added. Then when I changed to Michelins, got rid of

the Toyo's in 08 and all the transmitters were alike the Smart Tire I was scrapped. TWI 2004 Intrigue
