When I have rolling mileage set up for my monitor, the mileage never changes if I am on flat road or going down a 2 mile grade without touching the fuel pedal. Am I still using as much fuel going on a flat road as going down hill ? Whatever the answer is why ?

Stan, I would call Silverleaf @ 888 741-0259 something isn't working correctly if you as you say "rolling milage" going downhill/uphill would for sure change. According to the Silverleaf Manual "Rolling Milage" calculates approx. over a 1 minute time interval.

Mike, have you ever had any major problems with your 2003 Allure? The Allure we've purchased has 47.5k mi. Has a 370/ 6 Allision/Tag. Thanks, John

John, we now have 118,000 mi on our Allure. I've had many problems but the most expensive were a leaking Charge Air Cooler, had to replace the Exhaust Manifold, High Pressure Fuel Pump (CAPS Unit), and Fuel Lift Pump.
I've had to replace many parts in the Hurricane unit, control boards in the A/C Units, replaced the ARIA Classic II Toilet.
If others haven't told you these motorhomes are like Boats, they just have wheels.

John,
To get the Charge Air Cooler either fixed or replaced the CAC, Radiator, Oil Cooler have to all come out of the bottom of our particular coaches. I was able to have the CAC Fixed as it was leaking in a place that would allow this and not have to purchase a new unit, I had my Steel/Brass Radiator rodded out, cleaned and pressure tested as well as Oil Cooler, had to replace all coolant & hydraulic oil. Total for this was $4,200.
Exhaused Manifold, both pieces, new bolts, gaskets and labor $500
We were able to replace just 3 components of the High Pressure Fuel Pump (CAPS Unit) stands for Cummins Accumulator Pump System), the components were Injection Control Valve, Stator & Transient Suppressor with labor this was by memory $1,800, an entire CAPS unit with labor is approx. $5,300.
The others items are those things that generally go out over time, can't give you prices by memory.
