I'm not over impressed with the Zip-Dee awning design. I've owned three previous motorhomes and this is the 1st I've had to use a ladder to carefully place the braces in their upper attachment holes. What is so wonderfull about their design???? Except the raiseable lower arm mount point to eliminate Head Knocking of other designs.... Maybe a Sales Rep At the Eugene Rally can tell how good they are....

At the FMCA exhibit there was something new. The awkward application of the spring loaded arm that slips and can cause scratches has been redesigned. It now hangs from the top. It is available from them for a price. It will be interesting to see if Country Coach will make it standard. The old bars can't be reversed because there is a kinky bend in the new bar so it will store correctly. It is not shown on their web site. The set-up is much easier with the new bars.

slots on the motorhome, alongside the awning's protective metal cover.nbsp; Very awkward, lthough made simpler when a special tool is used.nbsp; A friend dropped an arm while trying to hook it and scratched his coach.nbsp;nbsp; I understand the quot;newerquot; Zip-
