Another thank you to Kevin Waite.

My Norcold refer decided to quite this afternoon. Called Kevin in Junction City and the problem was resolved over the phone. My Norcold recall fix had failed. A quick change of several wires allowed me to bypass the recall installed part and refer is back working.
I need to seek another recall part from Norcold on Monday. Hope they will respond without having to climb through too many issues.
Kevin said that the recall part is designed to shut the refer down, however, does not cut the power. You should have the lights come on in the refer. If not the recall part has failed.

Again Kevin to the rescue.

Jack,

May I suggest to you and others, consider sending Kevin a check. You decide how much, even if it is a little. Kevin helps us a lot and he is trying to make a living and is most generous with his time and assistance. I have not met Kevin except on this forum so my only interest is just to keep guys like him helping us.

Friend I would not use the fridge. after you bypassed the Norcold recall, A Friend did and a fire burned his coach! Your life is more important! I would go with a House Type unit. My 2 cents! Ken 99 Allure 30356.

It did get a bit warm in the outside compartment and I did shut it down, I have a service coming today to take a look at my situation.
