I am ignorant of the difference between the original cooling unit and an Amish one, so I cannot recommend this product instead of a residential refer, but I DO RECOMMEND this amazing video slide show that depicts existing and looming problems with the original unit that were discovered only when the refer was completely removed to install a different cooling unit. The owner was surprised to find that there already were charred wood, yellow chemical leak residue, missing hardware, mold and heat condensation damage, and improper and/or missing insulation, etc.
I could not tell who posted this other than maybe the install team, but many thanks to them for this valuable information.
