We're looking for an external freezer for our new to us 2003 Allure. Any recommendations on brands? Thanks, John/Jackie 2003 Allure #30951/2005 Wrangler Unlimited

We opted for a 1.6 cu ft Supentown electric freezer. It seems to do the job for about $200 delivered. It fits nicely in our basement.

We have used the CF110 by Dometic for the past several years. It works very well as a refrigerator or chest freezer, fits on the slide trays in our storage bay. Runs on either 120 or 12v, can be used in the car as an "ice box" for auto trips or tailgate parties. We use it mostly to augment our freezer compartment in the coach. If you look at the dometic web site you'll find they have started to produce a lot of specialty coolers...including very small units suitable for short auto trips and even backpacking trips.... I thought this was interesting:
