I recently dropped the coach from the jacks and the extended steps caught a curb on the way down. Now I have bend in one of the step supports and a new wind whistle.
While driving at over 50 mph there is a loud whistle coming from the top of the driver's side windshield. Close inspection from the outside shows a normal seal. Do I have to have the thing resealed?
One of the bars attached to the lower step is bent out about 1/2 inch so the steps will only retract about 90% of the way. How to you remove the support bars?

Jim,
I recently bent my step support bar doing the exact same thing you did. I also have an 05 Inspire #51264.
I was able to straighten the bent stair support by putting a hydraulic jack under the bend spot. I slowly jacked up the coach until the weight of the coach straightened out the bent bar. This worked quite nicely. If you use this procedure you must jack up your coach with the stairs retracted, in the up position. I do not have any wind noise coming from my windshield.
Good luck,
