Some kind of insulating material is mounted above the wheels in the rear wheel wells in our '02 Allure. This material is coming loose in the center but still attached around the edges. With the airbags dumped for leveling the material nearly contacts the top tire surface.
Has any one else had this happen? Any ideas on how to securely reattach the material to the top of the wheel well? --

Tom,
Same thing happened on mine shortly after purchase. I used the type nails with the round plastic caps that are used on roof felts. I think they were about an inch long. I used several of these and then applied some spray undercoating to conceal and protect. This insulating material was glued and stapled from the factory. I think the roof type nails will actually work better than the staples.
