On our 1996 Country Coach, the manual states there is a "Special Wrench" needed to remove the filter cover? Unfortunately, none came with when we purchased the coach. I tied to remove by hand and even comteplated using a pipe wrench but don't want to damage the filter.
Anybody have an extra wrench for sale or know where to buy one locally?
Thanks

Less: On my 99, the water filter is behind a panel inside the storage bay next to water/sewer hookups. If that is the sme as yours, to remove if it is threaded at the top like mine, you might buy a strap wrench at your local auto parts store. They are adjustabe and can be purchased in norrow and wide models.

My water filter wrench was in the big "folder" filed under "W" (for "water" or "wrench", take your pick).

Try a Lowes or Home Deport store in the plumbing section.
