While returning from an outing over the July 4th holiday, our coach just died while going down the rode. While still rolling we were able to fire her back up and continue on. This contiued for about 50 miles until we got her home doing it at least a dozen times. At first it was happening while going up an encline and then it started doing it going downhill. I replaced both fuel filters and took her for a drive and she done the same thing again. I asked some questions and was told to replace the fuel lift pump/transfer pump. I did and took for another test ride yesterday and she did it again but not quite as often. The coach idles fine and will hold RPM's at various levels with smooth running of the engine. I do not believe it is the injector pump as it runs to smooth. Is it possible there is trash or water being pickup in the tank? I filled up prior to our July 4th outing at a new station that had onlt been open a week.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thank you all in advance..

> Any help would be appreciated...It is possible your fuel shut off solenoid is going on the fritz. Make sure you have a good electrical connection, try to tie it open and see if she is running ok.

Make sure all fittings are tight! Replace Filters then go from there, Had the same problem a few years back. Both fuel filters were clogged on mine. May have to take it to Cummins and have them put on a laptop to check fuel pressure etc. Ken 99 Allure 30356

You may have a bad ground. Have a report with pictures that I did when we had a similar problem last January. If interested I can send it too you via email.
