Further to my post I am looking at using an existing but redundant Sirius antenna hole up on the roof. I have read that CC built in a ground plane on all roofs? Can anyone confirm that and if so where it is and how to hook up to it?
Thanks

Hello Michael
I believe that you do not "hook up" to a ground plane - you just need to mount the antenna on it. Easier route is to go to Firestick and purchase a "no ground plane" antenna - mine worked great.

The ground plane for my coach is up front above the LR TV. Not sure how it's hooked up.

Sorry Brad wrong words, more position related, I am looking at the Firestick but if I have a GP it's would seem to make sense to use it and not have to drill any more holes in the coach. There is a lot of steel in the coach and I assume the GP is linked to the chassis. I will investigate and hope that the Sirius hole is on the GP, I do not know if that needed one?
Larry thanks for the heads up, as above I will search this weekend.

Just as a caution, as I recall, if you want to switch to a non-GP radio, you will have to change the existing GP-compatible antenna wire to a non-GP type.
