We are on a trip into the mountains and the cooling fan will not come on high. The water temperature gets really hot on passes. The fan is on on low speed only. Talked to Country Coach rep who advised to unplug the fan at the fan controller and the fan would go to high speed and stay there. I unplugged the fan and it's still on low speed. We have plenty of water so the rediator is not the problem.
Does anyone have any input on what might be the cause and how to remedy it?

Jerry

Failed to include that this is occurring on an '03 Magna, C12 Cat.

Jerry, I have a 2002 Magna with a C-12 like yours. The fan should go to high when you unplug the fan controller. Mine did. Perhaps you have a bad hydraulic fan motor or other hydraulic issue is all I can think of.
