I removed the ceiling covers from the AC units to blow out & clean the evaporators and found the bolts that clamp the rear unit to the roof loose!
The units are clamped to the roof with four bolts. The two rearmost bolts on the rear, #2 unit, were not connected to the top assembly at all and the front bolts only by a thread or two.
One can only wonder what would have occurred if the rear AC unit blew off at 65 mph and landed on the toad and/or some poor soul alongside.

Jim - Thanks for the heads up. Some Loctite or elastic stop nuts would seem in order. One wonders what CC is thinking about. Certainly not these safety details. Good catch!!

That has been on my annual checklist to ensure the bolts are properly tightened to compress the roof seal at 50% of seal thickness.
