My Splendide 2000 washer/dryer no longer tumbles on either wash or dry cycles. I called Splendide and the tech says it is probably a relay on the control board. Unfortunately, that board is no longer available. I asked if it was possible to replace the relay and he felt it was if you could determine which relay was defective.
Has anyone repaired this board and can offer advice on how to proceed or know of someone that does the repair?
My only alternative is to try and find someone with a unit that is parting it out and hope they have a working control board. Well, that's not my only alternative as I can buy a new washer/dryer for a little over $1,000 or remove it and use the space as storage.

Pete:

I have an extra control board for the Splendide. I will dig it out tomorrow. We can compare numbers to see if your Splendide and/or control board is the same as mine.
Before replacing the control board like I did and wound up with an extra board, you should check the following:

1. Remove the top of the washer/dryer to expose the drum.
2. You will see a small circuit breaker that could just need to be reset.

In my case I replaced the control board and found out resetting the circuit breaker was all that needed to be accomplished.

I replaced mine back in march. I got the board from the Splendide distributor here in the states. If you look at the part number on the board and google it you can find other distributors PM me and I'll give you more info. sfortier@... (sfortier@...) I also have the complete training manual for that machine to show you how and where to test and what the test should read.
