Drawing on the vast experience of this group is a bonus of owning a Country Coach, with that I would like to know if anyone has had recent problems with the ATS not switching over when in Generator mode. When I started my Gen. the power did not switch over (20 seconds) nor did the genset power light illuminate, and the power panel indicated only 30 amps.I am connected to 50 amp shore power. Any Ideas Thanx

Yes, ours failed about a year ago replaced it and all is well. You could give it a good thump and see if that helps and look at the input/output with a volt meter.

There is a small board in my transfer switch, $35.00. I replaced that and it fixed the problem. Someone on this group recommended it. Barrie Boas 94 Concept 5111

I had problems with my transfer switch not switching to generator power. The problem on mine was the timing board. Dave Hills of this group has a fix if you feel like replacing a capacitor for about $2. That's what I did following Dave's advice. Check out Message #66205 and chase it around for all the info. The hardest part of the fix was getting wires from the generator out of the way so I could remove the board.
Of course, this assumes your transfer switch is the same as mine, a Todd Engineering PS245.

Thanks Pete for your reply, my ATS is different and I'm just going to replace it.
