We have gotten the carpet up but we need to remove the bed to get the carpet out from under that. We have a safe and can't figure out how to remove the portion of the bed base in front of the doghouse. Any ideas?

Another solution to water flooding: Find a water damage restoration company with water vacs, fans AND most important, a dehydration unit. No need to pull up or remove the carpet. The unit I have seen used will remove 110 quarts of water from the air per 24 hours. Fans help circulate the the moist air. They use a two prong probe to test and measure the water content of the carpet, pad AND wood floor. Took about 2.5 days to dry out the coach carpet, pad and wood flooring. Had to change the cat food regularly, as the canned cat food also would quickly dry out. It was a little hard to sleep at night as the evaporator is noisy.
