Title: HWH Systems

Have tried twice to e-mail HWH with a couple of questions over the past few days. Figured e-mail would give them time to read and respond, rather than a busy time phone call.

No reponse so far - which is very unusual.
The main question regards the hydraulic slide room solenoids. Our bedroom slide is "creeping" out, which means that the cylinder is extending (as opposed to the front slide which is reversed).
We have a new solenoid (the "spare"). The question is, do we replace the extend or the retract? We replaced one on the front slide a couple of years ago, but since that system is reversed, we can't remember which one to replace if the rear slide is creeping out.

Thanks for any help!

When I was at HWH about 4-5 weeks ago, they said that customer service was running about 1.5-2 weeks behind since this is the busy season. They are receptive, but sometimes it does take time with them,

Hi Jim,

You need to replace the "extend" solenoid. At one time HWH would rebuild those solenoids, especially if they are the new style. If you send it back for repair, you will have another spare.
