Hi Friend on your Cat C-9 Wetstacking post a few days ago. One of my X-Bosses sent this to me. Let me know if your Cat Dealer did this. Ken
Has the owner ever check the oil level of the engine manually , Meaning draining the oil and adding the exact amount of oil in recommends , If he wants to supply the serial number I can look up the info. Ken, just picked the coach up and they could not find the problem. They spent many hours but no solutions. They put a new fuel regulator on but did not feel this was the answer. I am taking it up to Mount Hood in the next couple of days to go down the 6% grade and see if I still have the problem. I am assuming I do. If it is there I will pick up a tech and have him ride with me down the mountain. The engine number is 9DG08773. Thanks for your interest and concern. To my knowledge the oil level has not been checked in this manner.
