My wife and I are researching coaches for retirement time which will be coming before we know it. I have researched Wanderlodges as fully as I can and have studied what I can find about early to mid 90s Newells.
I have seen a few ads for Country Coach Concept coaches for sale. Most of them are two axle versions, but some have been three axle coaches. I've seen them called Concept Alpha and Concept Omega coaches. I have not been able to find any information at all about that series other than whatever was listed in the ads.
If anyone on this list has any info about the Concept series, especially the three axle versions, I would sincerely appreciate all you can tell or send me. I have sent email messages to Country Coach, to Damon Rapozo, and to another person who I believe has some experience with them. Because of the weekend, those people have not had a chance to reply. I also posted on the Country Coach forum at iRV2. There have been more than 40 views there, but no replies yet.
I've looked under files and database on this group, but found nothing.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

I have no first hand experience, but to many CC owners, these were considered some of the best coaches ever built by CC. They are complex, and if you get a rig that has not been taken care of, may take some sorting out.
On the IRV2 CC board, check the Vintage Coach thread. You will find info in this thread, and might PM some of the owners.
One comment, is they do not have slides, and for full time, many prefer to have that extra space. The plus to not having the slides, is less to go wrong:)!
Also in the CC line up, check out the Affinity line, as more of these exists, and were the top of the food chain for many years at CC. Lexa (SP?) were around for a few years too, and I think they slotted above the Affinity.
The rigs you mentioned are all top of the line. Newell is in a class of it's own, with perhaps the Concept very close to the same league within those years.
Suggest you also research the top dawg Foretravels too, as they are a fine coach. (You did not mention budget range, but a two slide U320 with the ISM or older M11, with the trans retarder, is one heck of a rig, and right in the same class as the Wanderlodge and Affinity.

Best of luck, have fun, and enjoy the retirment ahead:)! Smitty

Apparently John Sinnar.

I guess he doesn't know that Country Coach is back in business and also has a factory service and parts center. Really, I saw it for myself! They even do some nice work.

We HAD a new 1995 (?) Concept "Show Coach" 2 axle that we bought at the FMCA Minot (hail show) at a very DEEP discount.. It was one of the last 2 axle ones made. THey went to an all-electric, 3 axle and never made many. It was NOT an improvement. Instead of the normal "bus style" bay doors, they went to "barn doors" and doubled the number of doors and added electric worm motors to open and close them and they only opened 90 degrees. So now instead of 8 doors you ended with 16 and 16 motors. BAD DECISION! They also got much heavier and I believe they went to 45' from 40 since they want all electric. We saw the new model at the Homecoming Rally in 1997 and decided to either keep our 1995 Concept but then I decided to order our own CC Prevost and have not been disappointed as a result.
