Hi All - I think I did something to myself, and hoping one of you will know the magic sequence to set things right.
We were doing an all around walk thru of the exterior lights. When I went to test the Reverse Lights, I had the ignition on but did not have the engine running. I put it in Reverse, and the R started showing with a Blinking R patern. This did not turn on the Reverse lights, so I thought well maybe it has to be running and then engage Reverse.
Put it back into N, then turned off the ignition. In about 10 seconds, I turned back on the ignition, and no 'Wait to Start' light came on. Tried to start the engine anyways, it turned over, but did not start.
I've closed up the rig, and walked away, figuring if I let it sit for an hour, it might clear whatever I did:)!
I did have shore power on, and still do. Is this possibly a safery feature to keep me from starting the coach while plugged in? (And, I admit as I was not planning to start the coach, I do not recall if the Wait to Start was on when I first turned on the ignition. Went straight to the indicator test.)
If this does not work, the do nothing for a hour, anyone have any tips on how to set things right?
TIA,
Smitty

My slides are in, can not open due where parked, with my box of manuals in a bedroom cabinet that will not open with the slides in. So, not access to the Allison book.
Still TIA,

PROBLEM SOLVED! Problem was Smitty!!! (The weakest link:)!)
I remembered after our last trip, I had the engine compartment open to get the belt part numbers to order spares. I must have bumped the Emergency Stop Buba Button:)! Pulled it back out, and started right up...
Hope someone searching for a problem like this in the future, will remember the 'Smitty SNAFU' and check the button:)!
Best to all,
Smitty (LOL at himself...)

Smitty,
Good solution is to spend an afternoon with your box of manuals and surf for PDF versions of every piece of kit and system, download onto your travelling laptop and a copy on a usb stick to give any service techs and keep on the coach. I also have the same stuff on DROPBOX to my phone. You will never get caught with missing documentation. I was fortunate to also get my CC manual as a PDF and wiring chart from PO!

Great idea! I have done some of this and loaded the files on to my Nook. I guess it is no better than the PC, but it seemed to be a good solution for me. You got a wiring chart from PO. Who or what is PO?

PO - I think is Previous Owner.
Micahel - Good input, and thanks. I do have some things saved, but that is a great idea to have as much as possible available in multiple electonic formats. I like the USB stick too, for leaving with tech's to help them. The more they have at their finger tips, the less hours spent 'on the clock'.
I've also added something to my personal problem solving check list: "What was the last thing Smitty did, before the problem showed up?" :)!
Best to all,
Smitty
