The rear view mirrors on our vintage (1997) Intrigue are corroding due to the marine atmosphere where we live. Have had no success in locating replacement assemblies. Neither Ramco (OEM) and Velvac offer replacements which include the arm and mounting block that matches the front cap contour radius. All newer model mirror assemblies have larger mounting block footprints with a shallower contour.
Have considered re-chroming, but I think I would net to find sources: one to do the alloy support arm; and another to do the plastic (?) mirror enclosure. Also, I believe the mirror glass would have to be removed (destroyed) in order to re-chrome the mirror box.
Does anyone know a vendor for used/salavaged mirrors?
